JWebPane?

I was looking to embed Google Maps in JavaFX but discovered that JWebPane has still to make its appearance.

JWebPane is a WebKit based browser component for Java. It was supposed to be available "soon". But that was months ago. This blog post has some details.

With this component, JavaFX becomes more like Adobe Air: a runtime that encapsulates a browser.

Also, it looks like Webkit is the browser of choice for mobile OSes. We have the iPhone/iTouch, Android and now JavaFX.
